Christian Care Services Singapore (Care Centre) for short is established in 1994 as a halfway house to help substance abusers to stay drug-free through free counseling, residential rehabitation, aftercare education and programs.
Guided by clear biblical vision and supported by dedicated staff, Care Centre is an outreach ministry of the Christian Outreach Centre (Singapore). Since its setup, Care Centre has come a long way in affecting transformation that touches the spiritual, social, physical and employment aspects of lives of addicts and their families.
As an affiliate non-profit voluntary welfare organization to the National Council of Social Service in Singapore, it works closely with the Singapore Prison Service, SCORE, NCADA, SANA, churches and other community organizations.
Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Edward Job, Care Centre has laboured diligently and faithfully despite circumstances to bring help to those addicts who are serious in getting back on their feet and reintegrate into our society. For Rev. Dr. Edward Job is unlike others as he himself is a testimonial of God's grace and power, having similar past with those he is helping today.
With no less effort from the many volunteers, staff and organizations believing and contributing to Care Centre, Care Centre has attained the industry's recognition having been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification.
As Care Centre continues to keep in step with God in its ministry of touching and changing lives, may He continues to guide and bless each and everyone according to His good plans and purposes.
